The following price will apply to weddings in 2016-2017. The first 25 miles from my home is included in price. Mileage fees may apply for further travel.
* A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The $1400 balance will be due no later than the day before your wedding.
Please read below for what this price includes. It is quite a bit to read but may answer many questions you may have.
For your $1600 you will receive the following:
~~ A free engagement sitting at location of your choice within 25 miles of my home. Mileage fee of $1 per mile beyond that. Your engagement photos will be put online for you to view and/or order from those, at the senior/family print pricing (please see the Senior or Family info page for that print pricing). You will be offered a disc of all of your photos for $125 or you may choose to purchase only the prints you want. The engagement sitting also allows us to chat about your wedding day and allows us to get to know each other.
~~I will most likely be at your rehearsal to check out the location and surroundings. Please do not include me if you are having a rehearsal dinner, as I will not be at your rehearsal for long. I will take a few pictures at rehearsal and will also briefly address the wedding participants.
~~I will arrive at your wedding location approx 2.5 hours before the ceremony to get photos taken of as many things as possible, such as decorations, the bridal party getting ready, etc etc.
~~I will take photos during your ceremony from as many directions as possible without disrupting your wedding. I use a zoom lens so I am never up close and try to stay as unobtrusive as possible.
~~After the ceremony I will take the traditional "group" photos. We will go over who those groups are to include during your engagement sitting. These are usually the bride and groom with their family members or special friends and we will also get photos of the bridal party at this time.
~~If there is a second location involved for photos, it needs to be fairly close to the location of the wedding to save time. This is usually a spot that just the bride and groom, and the wedding party go to for those fun photos. (if members of the bridal party have children, please have someone not in the party to take care of the kids while we do photos)
PLEASE NOTE - The above photos, taken after the ceremony, take AT LEAST an hour to an hour and a half, depending on your needs and location spots. Please allow ample time between the ceremony and reception when laying out your time schedule. Consider horderves or snacks to keep your reception guests from getting too impatient.
~~I will continue taking photos of the reception fun. I will plan to sit down at the meal, if one is being served, and will do so early on and will eat while the bridal party is eating, so I do not miss important things. I often bring someone with me to help with my bags or even to possibly be a 2nd shooter, so please include myself and my helper in your head count for the caterer. I will plan to stay at your reception for approx 2-3 hours and will take photos of many things, such as the first dance, the cake cut, the bouquet toss/garter pull, and things like that. We will talk at your engagement sitting about those things you plan on doing.
~~After your wedding festivities are over, I spend hours at the computer organizing, cropping and editing!
~~Within just a few days after your wedding, I will email you a complimentary "Thank You" photo that you can use as your Thank You's, if you wish. This will be a photo of my choice of the bride and groom that is just tastefully simple with a brief note that says, "Mr and Mrs _____________ would like to Thank You for enjoying our special day with us", or something to that nature.
~~Within approx 6-8 weeks, all of your wedding photos will be posted online for you to direct family and friends to see. I try my best to get these photos done as quickly as possible for you as I understand how anxious you are to see them! I will contact you as soon as they go online!
All photos from your special day will be put on a USB flashdrive and will be shipped to you. A copyright release permission statement will be included to give you rights to print or share all of your photos as you like! You will also receive a free 16x20 photo of your choice.
